The tide goes up and down— uncertain, constantly changing and rising.
You will never know when it comes, but I wait in eager anticipation.
Expectant and Hopeful, that this breaking will not break me to my end
The constant pounding of questions and unrevealed direction.
I wish I have known all that is in Your mind, but who can?
But one thing that I know, that you are for me, not against me but you are for me
So I’ll take the breaking, I’ll take the leading, I’ll take the discipline.
Remove the things that are not from You
Remold this heart to fit Your plans and Yours
Break the things that are holding me.
Crash the chains of fear that has bound me until I am fully undone.
I am Yours, Do whatever you know, that is suit for me
You are the Potter, I am the clay.
And in the molding, I am willing to stay.
As You gave me a new beginning, a brighter day.
The time that You came and remove the veil in my eyes.
You’ve shown me a gift, A gift that You have kept inside your heart all this time
That on the right time, and even in the season of my breaking
You believe that I will become the man
That you’ve design, Design to fit Your plans
And to be the answer to your precious one’s prayer.
You break, not to destroy but to birth out a new beginning
You remove, not to bring emptiness but to protect us from breaking
You mold, not to hold back but to show us to the exact picture
of what your gracious heart can transform.
The breaking is a part of your plans so that all that has established its wall around me
Will be pounded to the ground, crash in the greatness of your merciful hands.
Now, that the veil and the walls have been broken
You saw the treasure that is resting inside this clay vessel
And in this time, you are revealing a future so
graciously prepared, carefully molded and crafted
Map, to be walk by those you have chiseled and broken.
And now that You have completed Your work
This life has become ready.
To suit the answer of the prayer of your precious one’s heart’s desire.
Now I see, the beauty of the breaking that you have done to me
Now I know, how gracious is the hands of the One that has molded me.
When all the while I thought that those tides were pulling me
When all the while I thought that those crashing were breaking me
Now, My eyes have seen that It was to mold me, to be the man
that will fulfill Your precious one’s dream.
As the tides rises and fall, we welcome Your
gracious hands to completely established your plans
that you have for us until it is fully done.
