My Pearl of Great Price Life was a complete mess and empty as I wander in search of something that would completely fill and satisfy me. I have searched for it in almost every corner and cross almost every border. I lost hope. I grew tired. I almost give into the teasing. I almost give up the search and finally accept the fate that it can’t be found. I became desperate, in was in complete despair. But Little did I know I was looking for something that does not really matter, that does not bring meaning and healing to my wounded past and soul. I was broken, I need more than just the in filling. I need healing and more than just the caring I need restoration more than just a satisfaction. I was lost and was wandering. And You awaken me in my deep sleep In the idea that I tried to convince You that this is what really matters to me. I was wrong, I have come to realize that my search was so selfish all along. You have better plans, You Have something better in mind. I was aimlessly searching, Searching for something that was so self-centered that all the while I was thinking this is what I really want. I was wrong. I was completely wrong. And then You gave me hope, hope that restored my dreams and my desire to find the one that would bring about the purpose and plans that you have for me. The one that would complete Your first, step in accomplishing the great plans that you have in mind. That day When You came into my life. You have forgiven me of my past and sin. Healed my wounded past and soul Gave me Your life that I may rest in your fight. You have won my very heart. And then You gave me freedom and a hope. You told me that You love me. That You love for me has not change You've search for me and now I’m here. I was once lost but now You have found me. You remind me of who I am. You opened my eyes to who I really was. Then you gave me a gift. That I thought I would find in my wandering in this world full of fight and flight. A gift that comes from Your very heart One of the greatest gift that you have prepared from the start. Next to Your sacrifice and the gift of life that you freely gave to us. This was Your plan, Your game plan. Hahahaha! How could I be so blind that all the while You are actually holding her hand as I wandering all in my own plans. You molded her, Placed your hand upon her to protect her. The praises that she lifted up in Your Name In her difficulties and trials, you have polished her to be the most beautiful pearl my eyes have ever seen. You cause all of her praises to You, to cover her, As her beauty slowly emerges and being revealed in the midst of praising in the middle of struggles and pain. Two thousand nine hundred twenty days and counting in the making her beauty becomes more and more fascinating. Then my heart said to me, this is what you have been searching for so long now right before your own eyes, standing in reach of your hand. Your pearl of great price. And I replied I will give my everything, my possessions and all the I am. Just to have her and know her. Knowing that I have finally found my soul's desire IN the hands of the One who created us. My Pearl of Great Price, I have finally found. Revealed in the midst of Praising in seasons of testing and pain. Now In His time we will be together as we pursue His plans and desires For nothing can satisfy our heart until we learn to glorify His heart.
