The Promise

You know your plans for me You know it better than anyone else You know every detail, strings and the fragments of it all. I know I don’t have to be afraid or to be weary I know you can make all things work for my good I know that all of it was already established in Your heart before It came to be. Forgive me, for sometimes I feel like I’m rushing into things, I rushed into some ideas that did not originate from Your mind. Your thoughts about me are pure and are all good. 8 years in the making You have allowed me to see The promise that You have for me. But I know, giants will be in the Land And I can’t enter into that place without a fight where I can finally hold your hand and thank the Lord that you are part of His great plan. The promise of hope, healing, love and destiny He will faithfully complete Silence may go longer, it may cause us to go tired Battles may grow harder and bloodier but none of these will change my mind. The Lord has brought me this far and His blessings will end the war I will not give up, I will not give in I have finally found my pearl of great price and will do everything and pay the price, The promise of having you for all of my life Know that He is faithful Know that He is true Know that He is able And that His love will never fail. The promise He made is already at my gaze. Near and is already here.
